Veteran Actor Raza Murad Honors Teachers And Students
Pune: On the occasion of Teachers' Day, a felicitation ceremony was organized by the Bharat Ratna Maulana Azad Social Education and Sports Association on September 5th at 7 PM. The event took place at M. Phule Auditorium (Wanawadi). Veteran Bollywood actor Raza Murad, program coordinator Amanat Sheikh, BJP spokesperson and advisor to the Central Minorities Commission Ali Daruwala, and Deputy Commissioner of Police R. Raja felicitated a total of 20 teachers, 10 non-teaching staff, and 25 meritorious students.
Raza Murad said, "The initiative of Bharat Ratna Maulana Azad Social Education and Sports Association to honor meritorious teachers on Teachers' Day is highly commendable. Maulana Azad was a great social educator, and we should learn the values of social responsibility from him. I personally hold teachers in high regard. It is my honor that I get to honor these teachers today. Teachers are an important part of shaping society, and we should treat them with respect in our daily lives."
R. Raja added, "Teachers play a key role in training society on good conduct. When good citizens are formed, the work of the police becomes easier. In this regard, the contribution of teachers to the police force is invaluable. It is because of teachers that we are able to reach good positions in life."
Mubarak Jamadar, Amanat Sheikh, and Ali Daruwala also shared their insights. Meena Nelson gave the introductory speech, and Iqbal Ansari welcomed the guests. Rafiq Tamboli extended a vote of thanks. Many dignitaries, including Dr. Salim, were honored during the event. Advocate Ayub Sheikh, Nasir Sheikh, Mehboob Syed, Vijay Kumar, Adam Syed, and Haroon Khan were present. A musical and entertainment program was also presented at the event.
