UGC NET Schedule Released: Exam Set For June 18 Nationwide

Pune: The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) schedule, which is mandatory for admission for the posts of Assistant Professor and Ph.D., has been released. According to the notification, this year, the exam will take place on June 18 across the country.
Till now, the examination for PhD admission was conducted at the university level. But this year, the UGC decided to accept the NET exam for PhD admission. So this year, for the first time, admission will be given for Ph.D.s in universities across the country on the basis of NET exam marks. Accordingly, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NET exam in two sessions, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This year's NET exam will be conducted in written mode.
The NTA released information regarding the release of the exam hall ticket along with the exam date. Accordingly, the exam hall ticket will be made available for the applicants ten days before the exam, i.e., on June 8. Through this hall ticket, candidates can plan their travel by getting information about their exam city. More information regarding the exam is given on the website of UGT NET.
