A woman has died in Pune due to Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), marking the second death in Maharashtra. The 56-year-old woman died late Tuesday at Pune’s Sassoon General said the the Public Health Department said on Wednesday (January 29, 2025).

This comes as GBS cases rise to 127  since January 9.
