Pune: A tragic accident took place in Pimpri Chinchwad on May 16, in which a speeding dumper overturned a two-wheeler on the road leading to the auto cluster near Empire Estate Bridge along the old Pune-Mumbai highway. In this accident, a two-wheeler rider was killed on the spot.

This incident took place on Thursday, May 16, at around 3.45 p.m. The deceased individual was identified as Yogesh Srikanth Sangnor.

According to the primary information, Yogesh was going towards Nigdi from Pimpri on his two-wheeler. When Yogesh was taking a turn towards the auto cluster near the Empire Estate Society Bridge, a speeding dumper hit Yogesh's two-wheeler, and his bike got stuck under the rear wheel of the dumper.

The impact of the collision was so severe that Yogesh, who was seriously injured after being crushed under the dumper, died on the spot. After the incident, the dumper driver fled from the scene.

After the information about the incident was received, the Pimpri police rushed to the spot and started investigations into the incident. Pimpri police have started an investigation to apprehend the absconding dumper driver.
