Pune: A second consecutive tragic accident took place today in Pimpri Chinchwad city, in which one more police official lost his life. In the early hours of today, a fast Innova car struck the patrolling bike of police officials near the Bopodi area, in which one police official died and the other was injured. Similarly, another shocking accident took place in which one CID inspector died.

This incident took place today at around 9.45 a.m. near PK Chowk in Pimple Saudagar. The deceased CID inspector has been identified as Sachin Vishnu Mane. Mane, age 45, was a resident of the Aaditya apartment, Spine Road, Moshi.

According to the information, Sachin Mane was returning on his bike after dropping his father off at her sister's house. When he was travelling from Kokane Chowk to Nashik Phata, an unknown car hit his bike from behind. In this, his mouth and head received major injuries.

After the incident, nearby citizens called the ambulance and admitted him to the nearby hospital for treatment. However, doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

Sachin Mane was recruited into the police force in 2003. Appointed in the Motor Transport (MT) Department of the Pune City Police Force. Presently, he is working at the CID office in Pune. Sachin Mane is survived by his mother, father, wife, one son, and one daughter.
