The Date For Application Of Police Recruitment Has Been Extended Till April 15

Pune: The recruitment of 17,531 police constable posts has been announced by the state government.
Applications are being invited for this posts from March 5. Initially, the deadline for calling for applications was March 31. However, this deadline has been extended till April 15. Detailed information about this is given on the websites *policerecruitment2024.mahait.org* and *www.mahapolice.gov.in*
9,595 police constable posts, 1,686 driver police constable posts, 4,449 armed police constable posts, 101 bandsman posts, 1,800 jail police constable posts are to be filled in the state. Most of the posts will be in the Brihanmumbai Police Force.
Candidates can apply through the website *policerecruitment2024.mahait.org.* As the written examination will be conducted on the same day in all the police constituencies of the state, the candidate can apply in only one constituencies (Police Recruitment) in the entire Maharashtra. If the candidate provides wrong information, the candidature will be canceled at any stage.
Physical test will be conducted first in the recruitment process. A written examination of 100 marks will be conducted for the candidates in the ratio of 1:10 from among the candidates securing at least 50 percent marks. Candidates must secure at least 40 percent marks in the written test. Candidates securing less than 40 percent marks will be considered ineligible.
A merit list of candidates will be prepared on the basis of marks in physical and written tests and original documents of those candidates will be verified. A provisional shortlist of candidates who qualify in document verification will be prepared and final merit list will then be prepared.
The application fee for police recruitment is Rs 450 for open category and Rs 350 for reserved category. The candidate must have passed 10th or 12th standard. Candidates in the age group of 18 to 28 years can apply Police Recruitment.
