Pune: While the incident of a Porsche car accident in Pune's Kalyaninagar is fresh, a similar incident also transpired in Shirur taluka. In Shirur taluka, a disturbing incident came to light today where a minor girl ran over two people with a pickup car. In this incident, one individual died on the spot, whereas another was seriously injured.

This incident took place today, on June 1, on the Vadgaon Bande-Aaranagaon road. The name of the youth who died in the accident is Arun Vitthal Memane (age 30). Another individual, Mahendra Raosaheb Bande, is seriously injured.

According to the information, Santosh Lende was teaching driving to her minor daughter on Saturday. Accordingly, he gave his car to his daughter, and he himself sat on the nearby seat. At that time, two individuals, Arun Memane and Mahendra Bande, were going on a two-wheeler from the road to bring DP oil. Unable to control the car, the daughter of Santosh Lende hit the bike hard from behind.

The young man died after being thrown 30 to 40 feet under the rear wheel of the pickup. After the accident, Santosh Lende and his daughter absconded from the scene. Satish Vitthal Memane, the brother of the deceased youth, has lodged a complaint against them at Shikrapur police station. Local citizens and relatives admitted both of them to the hospital. However, Arun Memane was declared dead by the doctor.

The Shikrapur police are now conducting further investigations into the case.
