Solve the rift of reservation in the state by conducting a caste-wise census

Pune: The Matang community has welcomed the decision of the Supreme Court recently decided to classify them into Schedule castes. Now the state government should do a caste-wise census and solve the problem of reservation of all communities, it has said.

The founder of Matang Ekta Andolan and former minister Ramesh Bagwe has warned that he will not stay without coming down.

He further said that now the society should forget all differences and come together and build the next fight.

The Supreme Court has given a big relief by giving a decision, but now the society and organizations have to come together and follow up to implement it, he said.

Sachin Bagade, Founder President of Satyashodak Party, expressed the opinion that the decision of creamy layer is not applicable to the Schedule Castes because the reservation of Scheduled Castes is not due to economic backwardness but because of social ignorance.

"We have with proof the number of scheduled castes benefiting from government jobs, schools, colleges, state services and public services in Maharashtra for the last sixteen years. Lahuji Shakti Sena, who are agitating for Abakad reservation, said that the Matang community has benefited very little," said Founder Vishnubhau Kasbe expressed.

The verdict of the Supreme Court is not for any one caste but for 59 castes in the Scheduled Castes. Because of this, the marginalized castes who did not really get reservation will now get justice, said Bhagwan Rao Vairat, the leader of the Slum Security Force.

On this occasion Bhagwan Vairat, founder of Slum Security Dorce, former corporator Avinash Bagwe, founder of Lahuji Shakti Sena, protest leader Vishnu Bhau Kasbe, Sachin Bagade, Anil Hatagale of Satyashodhak Party, senior social leader Uncle Sonwane, And.Eknath Sugaokar, leader of Dalit Swayamsevak Sangh Rajabhau Dhade, Revolutionary Guru Lahuji Former President of Wastad Salve Memorial Committee Vijay Dakle, Nilesh Waghmare, Sanjay Alhat of Lok Jan Shakti, Sukhdev Adagale of BJP Scheduled Morcha, prominent leaders and office bearers of all political parties and various organizations in Pune city were present in large numbers
