Imphal: The Directorate of Education in Manipur has announced the extension of school closures until June 4, 2024, due to the ongoing widespread destruction and inconveniences caused by incessant rain and subsequent flooding. This closure applies to all government, government-aided, private, and central schools and includes the suspension of all activities related to the admission process.

All Zonal Education Officers and District Inspectors of Schools in Manipur have been instructed to inform all relevant parties within their jurisdictions and take the necessary actions in accordance with the directive.
