Pune: Pune-based young Gandhian scholar Sanket Munot was recently honored with the 'Yuva Gandhian' award by the 'Jayhind Lokchalval' organization. The award was presented by Padma Shri Indira Udayan (Bali) at Gandhi Teerth, Jalgaon. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Sudhir Tambe, founder of 'Jayhind Lokchalval,' MLA Satyajit Tambe, Ashwin Jhala, CEO of Gandhi Teerth (Jalgaon), and Pramod Chunchuwar, stated a press release.

Sanket Munot has initiated two movements, 'Knowing Gandhi Global Friends' and 'Nate Tikvuyya,' which aim to foster harmony and love in society. 'Knowing Gandhi Global Friends' has over 12,000 members. Additionally, Munot is actively working in the fields of financial planning and financial literacy.

In the same program, Sachin Itkar was honored with the 'Friends of Jayhind' award for his global outreach efforts. During the event, Sanket Munot highlighted the growing hatred based on caste, religion, sect, and class in the country. He remarked, "Only through love and dialogue can everyone come together, and that is how the nation can be saved."
