Railway Announces Special Summer Trains For Ayodhya Pilgrims From Pune

Pune: The Indian Railways has announced special train services to facilitate pilgrims travelling from Pune to Ayodhya for the darshan of Ram Lalla. This decision comes as a relief for devotees, especially after the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22, which has seen a surge in the number of visitors.
To accommodate the increasing demand, four additional summer special trains will operate between Pune and Ayodhya. The Pune-Ayodhya (Train No. 01455) summer special train will depart from Pune on May 3 and 7 at 7:30 pm, reaching Ayodhya at 8:50 am on the third day. Similarly, the Ayodhya-Pune (Train No. 01456) summer special train will depart from Ayodhya on May 5 and May 9 at 4 PM, arriving in Pune on the third day at 3:55 pm.
These trains will make stops at various important stations along the route, such as Chinchwad, Lonavla, Panvel, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi Junction, Orai, Kanpur, and Lucknow.
In addition, an extra one-way summer special train will run between Pune and Ajani to manage the rush of passengers. Departing from Pune at 12:20 midnight on May 2, this train will arrive at Ajani at 3:30 p.m. on the same day.
These special train services aim to provide convenient travel options for devotees making the journey to Ayodhya for darshan. The railways have taken proactive steps to ensure the comfort and safety of passengers during this summer season.
