Cyber fraudsters are on the prowl again..They have once again targetted Pune's famous Kayani Bakery. The owners of Kayani Bakery have complained that a fake Kayani Bakery is in operation and customers are being taken for a ride.

The owner of the bakery, Rustom Kayani, has complained to the police that Google has suspended the original profile of Kayani Bakery but the fraudulent listing is made visible to people.

The complaint has been filed by Rustom Kayani, one of the partners of Kayani Bakery, at Cantonment police station.

The complaint said “Some unknown persons have created a fake Google business profile in the name of Kayani Bakery”.

Rustom said fake address of Kayani Bakery was displayed on the Google listing along with a mobile phone number allegedly used by the cyber scammers to cheat customers.

"It is a matter of serious concern that customers are being fleeced in our name. They are being delivery of our products. Money is being , collecting from them and is fraud being committed in our name. The cyber criminals are asking for payment over the phone, which we never do, " Rustom said.

Rustom said similar scam had been conducted previously in the name of Kayani Bakery. The cyber scammers had mimicked Kayani Bakery's website and created a fraudulent Google listing in the bakery’s name to carry out a scam.
