"Pune Book Fair" an annual event of Pune City, is the largest book and education fair in Western India. The 22 nd exhibition cum sales celebration in this series will be held from Wednesday 4th to Sunday 8th December 2024 at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch,(Indoor Stadium) Swargate, Pune. This motto of the Book Fair is "Towards a Knowledge Society".

Pune Book Fair will be inaugurated on Wednesday 4th Dec.2024 at 11 am by Dr. Sadanand More ,Chairman,Maharashtra State Board of Literature and Culture. Bhausaheb karyekar ,Education Officer (madhyamik) Pune Jilha parishad ,Mrs.Sunita Raje Pawar , Prasar Bharati Pune Indrajeet Bagal and Balbharati Director Shrikrishna Bhalerao Patil will be present.

Highlights of Pune Book Fair

Educational Books : will be the highlight of this of year edition of Pune Book Fair. Leading Book Publishers & Book Sellers will showcase an exhaustive display of Books on Various topics that would be of interest to readers in all age Groups.Sapien Kid,One zero Eight learning Pvt.Ltd.

Foreign Language Books : India is marching with the world. The Globalization aspect has brought into focus, the need of learning foreign languages. Renowned Publishers from Delhi / NCR region will display some of the best educational books.

Govt. Publications : The Govt. of India Publications Division will display some of the finest books in English and other Indian Languages.

Balbharti : will display the full range of Educational Books in Marathi, Hindi, English Languages.

Pune Book Fair will have display stalls put up by renowned / leading publishers, Booksellers and service providers from all over India. Acclaimed books on Education, Science, Technology, Health, Management, Business, Law, Religion, Politics and literature will be displayed in various sections of the exhibition. Apart from Books in English, Books in various Indian languages like Hindi, Marathi, , Urdu, Sanskrit etc. will be available at these stands.

Prominent booksellers/distributors of the country, publishing houses, educational institutions, publications of the Government of India and Government of Maharashtra are some of the participants amongst many.                                                                       

     Poetic and prose reading materials from, recreational readers, learners, teaching and training resources, books, journals, periodicals on various subjects such as information technologies, health management, businesses, laws, religions, politics, public artsprofessions, humanitarian, folk tales in English, Hindi, Marathi, Urdu, Sanskrit, languages. Books, newspapers, weekly, magazines and reference manuals, dictionaries will be available under one roof. Options are open for all types of participations relevant to workers and patrons of books and knowledge developments.

Special arrangements are always maintained to encourage budding or specialist publishers and sellers. In order for the contributing participants to support small publishers and booksellers, an enterprise section consisting of Author Corner, Catalogue Display Counter Stand is normally provided at the show. Leading Newspapers and independent reporters in the region not only cover the Book Fair.
