Pune: In the Dapodi area of Pimpri Chinchwad, two female security guards were seen assaulting one female vegetable seller during the action against illegal encroachment in the city. The video in this regard is going viral in the city. After this video went viral, various people expressed their anger against this incident on social media.

According to the primary information, the women security guards were removing the vegetable cart of the concerned woman during their action against road encroachments. At that time, some dispute took place between the woman and the security guards, resulting in the assault of the woman.

The Municipal Corporation has appointed a team to remove the encroachments in which Maharashtra Security Force (MSF) personnel have been deployed. With the help of these personnel, the municipal administration took action against illegal encroachments in the city. However, in recent days, many people have complained about the misbehaviour of this MSF personnel with street vendors and local sellers, who often get assaulted by this personnel and also face verbal abuse.

In the video, it is seen that a woman security guard is beating up the concerned woman due to the dispute that took place while taking action to confiscate the vegetable cart of a woman selling vegetables on the side of the road. The female security guards beat up the vegetable seller by squeezing her hand, punching her on the back, and pushing her to the ground. The video of this incident has now surfaced on social media.

As the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation's hawker policy is still in limbo, many street vendors sell vegetables and other items on the roadside, causing massive encroachment and obstructing traffic. Because of this problem, the Municipal Corporation has appointed a dedicated anti-encroachment team to remove such infringements on public places. On this team, MSF personnel are also included. These personnel took action against illegal roadside encroachments.

But while taking such action, trespassing citizens cannot be beaten. Yet such cases are happening frequently.
