Pune, 5 December 2024:  The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) conducts Public Examinations twice a year, in April-May and October-November, on dates fixed by the NIOS Headquarters. The next NIOS Public (Theory) Examination for Secondary and Senior Secondary courses for the March-April 2025 session is likely to commence in the first week of April 2025.

The examination centres are to be fixed at Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, Government/Govt.-aided/Private Schools/Colleges/Institutions affiliated with CBSE/ICSE/State Boards/Universities, as per the NIOS exam By-laws.In this regard, Principals/Heads of Schools/Colleges are requested to apply online for examination centres on the NIOS website. The URL for exam centre registration is https://exams.nios.ac.in. The norms for exam centres are available on the website. The Bank Undertaking Proforma must be filled up and uploaded at the provided link. The original Centre Acceptance forms, along with the Bank Undertaking, must be submitted in full to the NIOS, Regional Centres in Pune. The online portal for submission will remain open from 05.12.2024 to 04.01.2025.The examination centres will be assigned by NIOS based on the norms at the time of fixation and do not offer any right or priority to any schools/institutions at this stage, stated a press release.
