Pune: A special program was organised at Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Sanstha on the occasion of National Space Day. 

DRDO scientist Kashinath Deodhar and Spain's international astronomer Carbonell were present in the program. Students were guided on Chandrayaan and national space topics. Astronomer Vishal Kumbhare also guided the students. Dr. Prasad Khandagle, manager of Pune's Henkel Company, gave information about the space laboratories being set up in all the Talukas of Pune district. The event was organised in collaboration with Henkel India, Global Mission Astronomy, Indian Welfare and Exercise Center, Lions Club of Pune Sahakar Nagar, Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Sanstha.
