Ranathon organised by Rotary Club Nigdi

Pimpri 29 September 2024: "We, the citizens of India, being loyal to democracy, hereby pledge to preserve the democratic traditions of our country and uphold the sanctity of elections in a free impartial and peaceful atmosphere and in every election fearlessly and without being influenced by the considerations of religion, race, caste, community, language. Or vote without succumbing to any temptation." 

This oath was taken by more than 4 thousand runners, cyclists along with municipal officials along with office bearers of Rotary Club of Nigdi in the Runthan program,stated a press release.

Various activities are being implemented under the guidance of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Shekhar Singh to increase the voting percentage in the upcoming elections. 

More than 4000 athletes participated in Runthon of Hope Marathon organized by Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and Rotary Club of Nigdi today. 

He vowed to vote in the election today.

Chief Information and Technology Officer Nilakantha Poman, President of Rotary Club of Nigdi Suhas Dhamale,Director of Runthan Keshav Mange, Scheduled Provincial Governor Nitin Dhamale, Municipal Deputy Commissioner Anna Bodde, Assistant Commissioner Ajinkya Yele, Kiran More, Mukesh Kolap, Area Officer Shital Wakade, Executive Officer Ganesh Deshpande, Public Relations Officer Prafulla Puranik, Rotary Club secretary Dr. Ravindra Kadam,Shashank phadke ,harbindar dullat, service director ashwin kulkarni, as well as ex-servicemen, police administration, traffic police, social sector workers and employees of various departments were also present to the program which was held at the scheduled place of the Praposed Mayor's residence at Nigdi Authority at 6 am today.

Great enthusiasm of youth in today's vote awareness program...

Runners, cyclists who participated in the runthan program held today spontaneously held voting awareness handies and also took selfies and showed readiness to spread and promote voting awareness in the upcoming elections.

Voter name registration was also promoted..

To ensure that no voter is deprived of voting, in today's program a popular campaign was conducted through Flex for voter list name registration, name checking, name correction.

Inclusion of government slogans on voting awareness...
