Mahavitaran Introduces An AI-Powered 'Urja' Chat Bot For Enhanced Customer Service

Pune: Mahavitaran has taken one step forward in addressing consumer concerns and providing them with seamless assistance regarding their service. Mahavitaran, in its latest initiative, has launched a 'Urja' chat bot that is available 24*7 on Mahavitaran's website and mobile app for interactive assistance to electricity consumers using artificial intelligence.
This chat bot is available in Marathi and English, and customers can ask questions about various services of Mahavitaran and also get information about new electricity connections, electricity bill payments, complaint redressal, etc. through this chatbot.
With this initiative, Mahavitaran aims to simplify access to its services and provide information on its initiatives. Through this chat bot, people can get information regarding Mahavitaran's electricity service and how to avail of these services at home.
This chat bot has been developed by the Information and Technology Department of Mahavitaran to ask direct questions about customer services and register complaints about various services. 24*7 available, this 'Urja' chat bot is helpful in serving domestic, commercial, industrial, agricultural, and other customers in the state, and it is available on the website www.mahadiscom.in and the Mobile App of Mahavitaran (MSEB).
Customers can utilise the chat bot to inquire about new connections, check application status, make bill payments, register mobile numbers and emails, submit self-metre readings and submissions, go-green registration, electricity consumption, bill calculator, and more. Additionally, the chat bot provides information on power outages, complaints, and Mahavitaran's contact details.
Many electricity consumers are utilising the 'Urja' chat bot, which has been operational since March of this year. This has eliminated the necessity for them to visit Mahavitaran offices for inquiries or to file complaints regarding electricity services. Consumers with registered mobile numbers can engage with Mahavitaran via the chat bot, accessing a range of services by providing their mobile number or customer ID.
