Pune: After the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) announced the results for the 12th board exams, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education also declared the announcement of the 12th board of exams. According to the information given by the state board, the result of the 12th examination will be announced tomorrow, May 21.

This year, the 12th examination was conducted from February 21 to March 23. Around 15.13 lakh students from the state had registered for the examination this year. It includes the most students: 7,60,046 for the science stream, 3,81,982 for the arts stream, 3,29,905 for the commerce stream, 37,226 for the professional courses, and 4,750 students for ITI.

Notably, the 12th board results of the CBSC and ICSE boards have increased this year. Therefore, there is curiosity to see whether the results of the Maharashtra state board will increase or decrease this year. Last year, the state's 12th result was 91.25 percent.

Earlier, the state board announced that it would declare the 10th and 12th board results in the last week of May. After this, state board secretary Anuradha Oak issued a press release today, announcing the declaration of results on Tuesday. Students will be able to check the result online from 1 p.m. onwards. Students can also take a printout of the result. Students will be able to check the results on the websites mahahsscboard.in and mahresult.nic.in.

The press release stated that after the online result, the students who have appeared in the 12th examination can submit the verification of the marks obtained by them in any particular subject (other than category subjects) and a photocopy of the answer sheets to the concerned departmental board for revaluation through online mode from the official website of the board (http://verification.mh-hsc.ac.in) in person or through junior college.

Online applications can be made from May 22 to June 5 for score verification and answer sheet photocopy.
