Maharashtra SSC Results Surge To 95.81%, Marking 1.98% Increase From Last Year

Pune: Yesterday, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education announced the class 10th examination results. As in previous years, girls have once again achieved a higher pass percentage than boys. Notably, the state has shown improved performance this year, with a pass percentage of 95.81%, which is 1.98% higher than last year's 93.83%.
Last year, 108 students achieved a perfect score of 100%. This year, that number has significantly increased to 9,382 students.
In the division-wise result, Konkan Division maintains its top spot this year as well, with a 99.01 percent result, followed by Kolhapur Division, which has a result of 97.45 percent. The Pune division secures third rank in the SSC result with a result of 96.44 percent.
The division wise board results for class 10 for SSC are as follows:

Mumbai: 95.83%

A total of 15,60,154 regular students from nine divisional boards in the state, namely Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur, and Konkan, registered for this examination. Of these, 15,49,326 students appeared, and 14,84,441 passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 95.81%.
In the re-examination category, 25,770 students were registered across the nine divisional boards. Out of these, 25,327 students took the exam, and 12,958 passed, yielding an overall pass percentage of 51.16%.
Regarding private students, 25,894 were enrolled on the nine divisional boards. Among them, 25,368 appeared for the examination, with 20,403 passing, giving an overall pass percentage of 80.42%.
For regular students, the pass percentage of girls from all divisional boards is 97.21%, while for boys, it is 94.56%. This indicates that the pass percentage of girls is 2.65% higher than that of boys. Additionally, the results for a total of 18 subjects were recorded at 100%.
