Maharashtra Assembly Elections: Deputy CM Ajit Pawar Addresses 3 Public Rallies Says ‘opposition Criticized Our Schemes And Now All Our Schemes Appear In Their Manifesto’
Pune: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) National President and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar addressed three public rallies in the state today. In Shirur assembly constituency, he took the rally in support of party’s candidate, Dnyaneshwar Katke, in Islampur assembly constituency Nishikant Patil is the party’s candidate and from Phaltan Sachin Sudhakar Patil is contesting on NCP ticket.
Addressing a massive gathering in Shirur, he claimed there is good coordination in the Mahayuti government. Targeting the opposition, he said they set a fake narrative in the Lok Sabha and it hit us.
Through schemes like Ladki Bahin Yojana, free electricity for farmers, youth training program, free 3 gas cylinders and Rs 7 subsidy on milk the government has helped all sections of the society. Taking a dig at the opposition he said “opposition criticized our schemes and now all our schemes appear in their manifesto. They were asking us where we will get the money for these schemes, now they should answer from where Maha Vikas Aghadi is going to get the money.” Maha Vikas Aghadi is misleading the people, they will not come to power, so they are trying to get people's votes by making whatever announcements they want, added Ajit Pawar.
He also said “earlier onion farmers did not get good prices due to the export ban on onions. This impacted us in the Lok Sabha. I requested the centre and today onion farmers are getting good prices. Sugarcane farmers are also getting good prices for sugarcane.”
In Islampur, he attacked the sitting MLA Jayant Patil, for lack of development. He said “Jayant Patil has been representing the Islampur constituency for the past 35 years. Along with that, he has also been the finance minister of the state. But there is no proper bus station in Islampur city. There is no MIDC for employment in this city yet.” Jayant Patil has not paid the payment to farmers of the sugar factory and he is dreaming of becoming the Chief Minister, he added.
Speaking at Phaltan, Ajit Pawar said “our opponents went to court against Ladki Bahin Yojana, but the court rejected their demand. The opponents alleged that the state will be in debt, they also alleged that the money for this scheme will not come. But we have provided benefits of the scheme to over 2.5 crore women of the state”.
Ajit Pawar appealed to the people to vote for the Mahayuti candidates in the assembly elections.
