Maharashtra Assembly Elections: Congress Launches Hard-hitting Ad
Pune: Maharashtra Congress has launched a hard-hitting ad* targeting the Mahayuti government for its deep-seated corruption and "failure to uphold Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s vision for the state."
The ad "highlights the collapse of the recently installed Shivaji statue," contrasting it with the enduring statue from 1961, symbolizing the difference in governance quality between then and now.
The ad also underscores "Mahayuti’s neglect of Maharashtra’s pressing issues, from rampant youth unemployment to failures in women’s safety," as youth struggle for jobs and women remain unsafe.
Congress’s message is unambiguous: "Mahayuti is a Shiv-drohi government* that prioritizes corruption over public welfare, and the people of Maharashtra are ready to reclaim their state.
"By failing to honor Shivaji Maharaj’s ideals, the Mahayuti government has, Congress asserts, betrayed Maharashtra’s values and the trust of its people," the party said
