Innerve 9.0: India’s Largest Student-Driven Hackathon Set To Redefine Innovation On 7th & 8th February
Pune: The Army Institute of Technology (AIT), Pune, is set to host Innerve 9.0, India’s largest student-driven hackathon, on 7th-8th February 2025. Organized by the Open Source Software (OSS) Club of AIT, the event brings together young tech talent to foster innovation, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving.
The hackathon has strong industry support from Josh Software, udChalo, Cloudflare, Accops, Sahana System Ltd., and Innerve 9.0, thus enhancing the industry-academia partnership to drive technological advancements. The industry sponsors are also providing real-world problem statements, allowing participants to work on industry-relevant challenges while bringing fresh, innovative perspectives to the table.
More than 9,000 students in 2,500+ teams from technical institutes across India have registered for this mega event. Only 30-35 teams have been selected through the preliminary rounds, for the Grand Finale on 7th February 2025. The hackathon will be interspersed with mentoring sessions by technology experts to broaden the horizon of the participants. Through a rigorous evaluation process, only the most exceptional teams will stand out.
The event will conclude with the prize distribution ceremony on the evening of 8th February 2025, honoring the most innovative solutions. Chairman AIT will be the Chief Guest for Prize Distribution.
Innerve 9.0 is not just a competition but a platform for aspiring technologists, providing them with industry exposure, mentorship, and opportunities for innovation. The organizers are being guided by Prof Vaishali Ingale (Faculty In-Charge, AIT OSS Club), Dr B P Patil (Principal, AIT), Col M K Prasad (Joint Director, AIT), and Brig Abhay Bhat (Director, AIT), stated a press release.
