Pune: In a shocking revelation, the arrested individual escaped from police custody in Hadapsar. The escaped accused has been identified as Govind, alias Pintya Ghodke. The Hadapsar police are searching for the escaped accused.

Govind Ghodke was arrested by Hadapsar police in connection with his involvement in theft in the Hadapsar area. On Saturday, at 1.30 p.m., Ghodke was brought out of custody to take the fingerprints of his hands. At that time, Ghodke escaped from the lockup, taking advantage of the fact that the police were engaged in some other activity.

When police noticed that Ghodke had escaped from the police station, they immediately cordoned off the area surrounding the police station. Police suspect that he had gone towards the railway station area. The police are scrutinising CCTV cameras in the area to track down the accused. However, due to the daylight escape of an accused from the police station, people are questioning the diligence and efficacy of police administration.
