Pune: A shocking incident took place in the Baramati area of Pune, where an individual was shot in the head due to a dispute over the purchase of a bull. In this incident, a complaint was lodged against the son of the ex-chairman of Someshwar Sugar Factory, Shahaji Kakade, and three other individuals at Vadgaon Nimbalkar police station.

The injured individual has been identified as Ranjit Nimbalkar, a resident of Phaltan, Satara, and is receiving treatment at a nearby hospital. In this case, Ankita Ranjit Nimbalkar lodged a complaint against Gaurav Shahaji Kakade, Gautam Shahaji Kakade, and one other individual.

The police informed that the bull-buying took place between Ranjit Nimbalkar and Gautam Kakade. According to the contract between them, Ranjit Nimbalkar sold his bull named 'Sundar', who is specially trained for the bullock cart race, to Gautam Kakade. Accordingly, Gautam Kakade paid him a deposit of Rs 5 lakh to Ranjit Nimbalkar.

After that, Gautam Kakade called Nimbalkar to his house to take his remaining 32 lakh rupees from the purchase. At that time, both had an altercation over the signing of the stamp paper of an agreement. Gautam, promising to pay his remaining amount a day later, asked Ranjit Nimbalkar to sign the stamp paper immediately.

Refusing to sign the stamp paper without receiving the amount, Nimablakar went on to take his bull back. This move by Nimbalkar enraged Gautam Kakade, prompting him to call his friends to assault Nimbalkar. Gautam then called his friends and started assaulting Ranjit Nimbalkar. As the tension increased between them, Gautam took his revolver and shot Ranjit Nimbalkar in the head.

After the incident, Ranjit Nimbalkar was immediately admitted to the hospital. The assistant police inspector, Rahul Ghuge, is conducting further investigation into the incident.
