Vijnana Bharati's Sixth National Convention To Be Held In Pune On 22 & 23 June

Pune, June 20 : The Sixth National Convention of Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA) will be held in Pune on June 22 & 23 (Saturday-Sunday). The convention to be held at the Vishwashanti Dome, MIT-ADT University campus in Loni Kalbhor, will be inaugurated on Saturday (June 22) at 11.30 am, informed by Dr. Shekhar Mande, former CSIR Director General and VIBHA President at a press conference here on Thursday. National Secretary of VIBHA Dr. Arvind Ranade & General Secretary of VIBHA Prof. Suresh Bhadoriya were present at the press conference.
Dr. Shekhar Mande said, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Minister of state (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology, Atomic Energy and Space Dr. Jitendra Singh, famous scientist Dr Raghunath Mashelkar, ISRO Chairman S Somanath, ideologue Suresh Soni and social activist Sunil Ambekar will be among luminaries who will address some of the sessions during the convention. Famous scientist and Mentor of VIBHA Dr. Vijay Bhatkar, former CSIR Director General and VIBHA President Dr. Shekhar Mande, Founder of MAEER'S MIT group of institutions Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad, VC MIT-ADT University Prof. Dr. Mangesh Karad and Science & Technology Secretary Dr. Abhay Karandikar will grace the occasion.
Dr. Arvind Ranade mentioned the conclave will be attended by over 1500 VIBHA office bearers from across India. They will deliberate upon issues like Green Energy, Hydrogen Fuel, Electric Vehicles, Energy Security; Science, Technology and Innovation Education: Rollout of NEP; Climate Change and Life Style for Environment and Water in panel discussions during the course of the conclave. Apart from these, keynote address and plenary talk on topics like Indian Thought on All-round Development and Science and Spirituality are some of the highlights of the two-day conclave. The valedictory session of the conclave is scheduled on Sunday (June 23) evening.
Prof. Suresh Bhadoriya said the National Convention of VIBHA is an important conference. A souvenir containing an account of the work done by VIBHA in the last 33 years towards its objectives will be released during this period. It will also include articles written by scientists who envision India from a scientific perspective until 2047, creating awareness about science, stated a press release.
