Pune: On Thursday night, near Satya Kamal Colony along the Talegaon-Chakan highway, a fast-moving trailer lost control and crashed into a bus. Luckily, no one was injured since the bus had been emptied earlier.

Continuing down the Talegaon-Chakan road, close to Balaji Marble, a trailer lost two rear wheels unexpectedly, hitting a bus heading the opposite way. Despite the collision, the bus driver successfully maintained control.

Fortunately, the bus was vacant, and there were no other vehicles in close proximity, averting a major disaster. While the bus incurred notable damage, such as broken windows and facades, the driver's injuries were minor.

Surprisingly, the driver of the trailer was unaware of the detached wheels and continued on without stopping, unaware of the mishap.

After the incidents, the bus owner and a volunteer with Maval Sanstha, Bhaskar Mali, worked with other eyewitnesses to clear the damaged bus from the road with the help of a crane. These incidents led to a brief traffic delay on the Talegaon-Chakan highway.
