Pune: An unsettling incident has emerged from Katraj in Pune, where a nine-year-old boy tragically lost his life due to shock at a funfair near Rajas Society Chowk late on Saturday night. The news of this incident has stirred widespread outrage in the community.

The incident unfolded at a funfair park near Katraj Rajas Society Chowk, which offered various attractions for children, including toys, food stalls, and entertainment featuring characters like Mickey Mouse. Families frequented the park to entertain their kids.

On Saturday night, tragedy struck when a nine-year-old boy, visiting the park for leisure, suffered a fatal shock. Eyewitnesses and police reports indicate that the boy became unconscious while climbing the iron steps of a cradle within the park premises.

Despite being promptly rushed to the hospital, the child succumbed to the shock during treatment. The Bharti University Police have stated that the exact cause of death will be determined after conducting an autopsy. Meanwhile, authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident to ascertain any potential lapses in safety protocols or equipment malfunctions at the fair.
