Pimpri - Chichwad: Umesh Patil of Pimpri Chinchwad Jain Federation appealed to everyone to cultivate the teachings of brotherhood of Lord Mahavir Swami, who gave the precious message of non-violence and peace to the whole world.

On the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, various grand programs were organized on behalf of Pimpri Chinchwad Jain Federation at Prof. Ramakrishna Auditorium in Chinchwad, on this occasion Patil was speaking while guiding the attendees.

Public Relation Officer of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Prafulla Puranik, Founder President of Jain Federation Ashok Pagariya along with office bearers and members of the organization were present in this program.

Thousands of brothers and sisters present on this occasion expressed their determination to vote 100 percent by taking an oath to "vote with loyalty to democracy, maintaining the sanctity of elections and fearlessly and without being influenced by the thoughts of religion, race, caste, community, language or succumbing to any temptation".

Under the guidance of Pimpri Vidhan Sabha's Assistant Election Returning Officer Archana Yadav, Prafulla Puranik administered the oath to everyone in this program under the sweep initiative and also gave information about the Lok Sabha election process 206 Pimpri (A.Ja) Assembly Constituency.
