Pune:  Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts (SSLA), Symbiosis International (Deemed University) is organizing “Literary Festival” on 5th and 6th October 2024 at 11:00 AM onwards at Symbiosis Ishanya Auditorium, Viman Nagar. The theme of this year's festival is 'One World, Many Stories' with the aim to foster conversations around the stories that coexist. This event is open to all.  

The Inaugural Session will take place on Saturday, 5th October, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Shri. Javed Akhtar, Poet, Lyricist and Screenwriter is invited as the Chief Guest for the Function. He will address the function Virtually. Dr. S.B. Mujumdar, Founder & President of Symbiosis will preside over the function. Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, Pro Chancellor, SIU and Dr. Ramakrishnan Raman, Vice Chancellor, SIU will also be present for the ceremony.  

The event will feature stimulating conversations on a wide range of topics including writing for children, reporting from conflict zones, Indian crime fiction, and the evolution of food cultures in India. Renowned speakers such as Pushpesh Pant, Deepak Dalal, Pankaj Sekhsaria, Madhav Gadgil, and many more will grace the festival.   

The Closing Ceremony will take place on Sunday, 6th October, 2024 at 5:00 PM. with Dr Mohan Agashe, a distinguished Indian actor and psychiatrist. Mr. Sudhanva Deshpande, actor and publisher will have a dialogue with him, stated a press release.
