Pune: Three student teams from G H Raisoni College of Engineering and Management, Pune won the prizes at the Barclays-Capgemini Ideathon 2024, hosted by ICT Academy. Our students competed against 106 teams across three rigorous evaluation rounds and secured three prizes, demonstrating their students' innovation and technical expertise.

Shubham Santosh Singh, the team leader of Team New Gen Innovators (CSDS), won the first prize, along with a cash reward of 1 lakh. Team members were Shubham Singh, Satyam Vishwakarma, Gaurav Shirsat, Preeti Devadiga, Sneha Kumari, and Shruti Varankar, under the mentorship of Hemant Chaudhari and Dr. Deepika Ajalkar. Aditya Dandare, the team leader of Team Concept Crew in the field of Computer Engineering, was awarded the second prize with 75,000 and certificates.

The team Power Rangers 2.0 (Data Science) won the spotlight award, which came with a cash prize of 25000 under the leadership of Anuj Shukla, securing them the third prize. The team included Prasad Dhend, Anuj Shukla, Kshitija Gosavi, and Vaishnavi Hande, mentored by Dr. Deepika Ajalkar and Dr. Arti Patle.

The awards were conferred at prize distribution ceremony held at Barclays. Mr. Neelesh Sirdeshmukh (ICT Coordinator) and Dr. Swapnil Mahajan (Head of Innovation and Incubation) guided to students.
