Pune: Accidents have become common on Pune's roads. In one such incident, an individual died eight persons were injured after a State Transport bus hit a bike and a car on Old Pune Mumbai Highway Bopodi area of Pune on Sunday morning. 

The accident took place in Bopodi area on the Old Pune Mumbai Highway commercial complex.

An MSRTC bus rammed into a car and a bike. One person has been killed and eight injured. The injuries of two of them are serious in nature, the Khadki station police said.

After the incident, the traffic on the Old Mumbai Mumbai highway was affected in Khadki and Bopodi area after the accident. The drive of ST bus apparently fled from the scene. The motorcyclist has not been identifed so far.
