Sikh Feelm (Feelings+Emotions) Festival 2024: A Celebration Of Culture, Service, And Social Responsibility
Pune: On August 17, 2024, the Mahatma Phule Auditorium in Wanowrie buzzed with excitement as over 100 participants gathered for the Sikh Feelm Festival, an event organized by the Sikh Youth of Pune. The festival brought together a diverse group of individuals, ranging from ages 5 to 50, hailing from various professional backgrounds including business, medicine, law, and academia. The event drew an audience of over 700 people, all eager to witness the cultural celebration and the powerful messages conveyed.
The event showcased a rich tapestry of performances that celebrated Sikh culture and conveyed powerful messages of social responsibility. Attendees were treated to a variety of acts, including Gurbani Kirtan, stage plays, poetry recitals, and captivating martial arts displays by young children.
Short films and skits were a highlight of the festival, each one echoing the Sikh ethos of "Sarbatt da Bhala" – a universal prayer for the welfare of all.
