Pune: In a major setback for the Sharad Pawar faction in Parner, key leaders including former Mayor Vijay Auti and Dhangar community leader Shivajirao joined NCP in presence of party president Ajit Pawar in Mumbai.  

Former District Council Vice President of Parner Assembly Constituency Shri. Sujit Jhavre, Former Construction Chairman Shri. Kashinath Date, former Zilla Parishad member Madhavrao Lamkhede, former Mayor Vijay Sadashiv Auti, Dhangar community leader Shivajirao Gujar have publicly joined the NCP along with their supporters. 

Ahead of assembly polls, these joining aims to bolster the Ajit Pawar led NCP.
