Several ITIs Renamed, Says Ajit Pawar
Pune: Deputy CM and NCP National President Ajit Pawar was in Baramati today where he participated in various programmes. He informed that the names of several ITIs have been renamed in the honor of some prominent figures who have made significant contributions to the society. He said “ITI, Aundh has been renamed as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Government Industrial Training Institute, ITI in Pune has been renamed as Savitribai Phule Mahila Government Industrial Training Institute and an ITI in Baramati has been renamed as Anantrao Pawar Government Industrial Training Institute.” Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s ideas must be passed on to the younger generation, added Pawar.
He also participated in a felicitation program for students of Redbird Flight Academy in Baramati. During the event, he interacted with the students and wished them the best for their future endeavors.
In the morning, he participated in the ‘Mukhymantri Mahila Sashaktikaran Abhiyan’ – Chief Minister Women Empowerment Campaign in Solapur district.
Ajit Pawar also appealed to the voters to support the party and the Mahayuti in the upcoming elections emphasizing that it will help secure funds from the central government for developmental projects in the state.
