Pune: Crime is increasingly rearing its head in the Pimpri Chinchwad area. On Wednesday night, a 30-year-old man was shot and killed by unknown assailants in the Navi Sangvi area, spreading panic among residents. The victim has been identified as Deepak Kadam, a known criminal, though the motive for the murder remains unclear.

The incident occurred in the bustling streets of Navi Sangvi, where a crowd of citizens had gathered on Wednesday night. Deepak was standing in the area when the assailants, who had been covertly tracking him, shot him in the face. The attack was so sudden that Deepak did not get any chance to escape and died instantly; his body was left in a pool of blood.

Upon receiving the report of the shooting, police officers quickly arrived at the scene and commenced their investigation. The authorities have formed teams to search for the suspects.

With crime rates climbing steadily in both Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad, there is a pressing need for police to expedite the apprehension of criminals.
