180 Rallies, PM Takes To Meditation In Kanyakumari

Our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is letting his hair down means he is relaxing or rather he is busy gathering his thoughts. Whichever way you look at it, the Prime Minister is doing what he does best...He is meditating.
And where ? Away from the heat and dust of Delhi which is boiling at 52 degree Celsius, the PM has landed in Kanyakumari to meditate till June 1 and then possibly, get ready, as many of his supportes believe for a third term in office. We will have to wait till the 11 am, June 4, to find out whether that is going to happen.
Meanwhile, even as the Prime Minister is meditating, it is worth stating that he deserves some time for himself. As in the heat of the election -- with summer temperature unusually high across the country, the Prime Minister addressed as many as 180 rallies. No other leader is even close to him. Forget about Rahul Gandhi too. The Congress has failed to put out the figure of rallies addressed Rahul Gandhi, who is 20 years younger to the Prime Minister,
Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge, trying to take a jibe at the Prime Minister, said Narendra Modi took his own name during his election campaigns as many as 758 times.
Besides, Kharge said in last 15 days, Mr Modi has taken Congress'' name 232 times, 573 times INDIA name and 421 times, he has uttered words like Mandir, Masjid, Muslim.
Mr Kharge said Prime Minister did not spare Pakistan either. ''He took Pakistan's name, minorities and Muslims several times,'' he said.
Amidst all this, Mr Kharge said the Prime Minister did not utter a word about rising unemployment in the country.
Mr Kharge alleged that the Prime Minister campaigned openly in the name of religion. ''Yet, the Election Commission of India failed to take action against him. The voters will decide whether the EC behaved impartiality or not.
Meanwhile, on the last day of the campaigning on Thursday, the Prime Minister launched a blistering attack on the Congress. Mr Modi said the Congress was raising noise about likely change in Constitution when it was the same party which had strangled the Constitution during the Emergency.
Mr Modi also alleged that during 1984 Sikh riots, the Congress did not care about the Constitution. ''Sikh community members were burnt by putting tyres around them,'' he said.
Mr Modi accused the INDIA bloc of insuling the spirit of the Constitution. ''The opposition wants reservation on the basis of religion in government jobs and admission in universities. ''They want to snatch reservation from Dalits and give it to Muslims,'' he alleged while addressing a rally in Hoshiarpur in Punjab.Hitting back at the Prime Minister, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi alleged that the Indian Constitution was under attack from the BJP and the RSS. He said the Prime Minister and Home Minister Amit Shah have openly claimed that they will scrap the constitution after getting more than 400 seats. ''Our mission in this election is to protect the Constitution drafted by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar,'' he said.
