After the hat-trick of National Awards for the Marathi films ‘Harishchandrachi Factory’, ‘Elizabeth Ekadashi’ and ‘Vaalvi’, this film comes from writer-director Paresh Mokashi and producer Madhugandha Kulkarni. Mokashi's unique style of comedy and the film based on his play ‘Mukkam Post Bombilwadi’ have raised high expectations among audiences. The anticipation has further increased due to the strong star cast featured in the film.
The teaser showcases several humorous moments. Prashant Damle, who plays Hitler, delivers hilarious dialogue, and glimpses of these are seen in the teaser. Several other characters also provide humorous dialogues about war, bombs, and more. The film’s genre becomes clear through these moments. Just like Mokashi’s previous films, ‘Mukkam Post Bombilwadi’ promises to offer something unique and entertaining, and this is confirmed by what is seen in the teaser.
Prashant Damle plays the role of Hitler, while Anand Ingale plays Churchill in the film. Since the announcement of the film, the audience's curiosity about ‘Mukkam Post Bombilwadi’ has been growing. After that, the promotional song of the film was released, and this 'copyright-free' song created a buzz. The song, written by Paresh Mokashi, is composed by Tanmay Bhide and sung by Avadhut Gupte and Vaibhav Mangale.
Before that, the film's motion poster was released. From this, it became clear that the film is a pre-independence British-era story revolving around a bomb explosion. Audiences are curious to see how this story has been brought to life on screen. This is the cinematic adaptation of the hugely popular play of the same name that was released a few years ago. The film has been made with some changes in the screenplay, based on audience demand.
Speaking about the film, producer Madhugandha Kulkarni said, "This film is a laughter ride. Since Prashant Damle is playing Hitler, the film has touched a new high. He has done an outstanding job. The cast has come together wonderfully, and today’s teaser offers a glimpse of that."
When asked how Prashant Damle portrayed Hitler, Mokashi humorously responded, "I feel like asking the real Hitler, 'Hey, do you think you've been portrayed well? Will you ever be able to do something like this in your life?'
When asked why the audience should watch this film, Mokashi gave a witty reply: "These days, I don't get enough exercise, so my lungs don't get a workout either. But ‘Mukkam Post Bombilwadi’ makes you laugh so much that your lungs get plenty of exercise... Joking aside, the film has turned out great. With the excellent support of the cast and crew, everything has come together really well. After today's teaser, I am confident the audience will eagerly await the film to release."
The producer of the film, Shri Bharat Shitole of Vivek Films, said, "When we entered the film production industry, we decided to make Marathi and Hindi films. While thinking about which film to start with, Pareshji and Madhugandhaji narrated the story of ‘Mukkam Post Bombilwadi’ and I immediately said yes to this film. Since the announcement of the film, we have been receiving a great response from the audience. The film has come together excellently in every aspect, and I am sure the audience will love it. The wait is now just a month away."
