NFDC And Argentina Film Festival From 27 May Till June 1
Mumbai, 25 May 24: National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) has announced the NFDC and Argentina Film Festival, a six-day celebration of cinema and culture, beginning on May 27, 2024. This unique festival, will be held at the National Museum of Indian Cinema on Peddar Road and will showcase restored classic films from both NFDC and Argentina, reflecting the rich cinematic heritage of both countries.
The festival will open with a mesmerizing Tango dance performance followed by a critically acclaimed Argentine film Un Lugar enel Mundo at 4:00 PM, The opening ceremony will be graced by the presence of Mr. Daniel Quer Confalonieri, Consul General of Argentina and talented actor of Heeramandi Taha Shah Badussha
Throughout the festival, audiences will have the opportunity to enjoy a carefully curated selection of films. From Argentina, Made in Argentina and Casa de Fuego will be featured, presenting the diverse storytelling and cultural narratives of Argentine cinema. Representing NFDC's contributions to Indian cinema, the festival will showcase Ek Din Achanak, Rudaali, and conclude with the iconic film Manthan on June 1, 2024, in honor of World Milk Day.

Daily Film Screenings:May 28 - June 1, 2024, at 4:00 PM
