Pune: As assembly poll dates announced,NCP President Ajit Pawar says, “Our development record is testimony to our commitment for the welfare of the people of Maharashtra”.

Soon after the Election Commission announced the dates for the assembly elections in Maharashtra, Deputy Chief Minister and NCP President Ajit Pawar, said the NCP is fully prepared for the elections. Ajit Pawar took to social media platform X, minutes after the Election commission announced the dates, he said, ‘our development record is testimony to our commitment for the welfare of the people of Maharashtra’. Exuding confidence in his development and governance record, he posted, ‘Our work is before the people of Maharashtra- our historic budget, our development record, the Ladki Bahin Yojana, three free cylinders, electricity bill waivers for farmers’. 

Telling party workers to be poll battle-ready, he said we have worked tirelessly to ensure that our schemes reach people and now it’s time for us to go to the people with folded hands and ask for their voter. Reaffirming his commitment to the ideals of, Shivaji, Shahu, Phule and Ambedkar, he underlined the NCP is dedicated to ensuring everyone’s welfare and uplifting the poor. 

Voting for 288 assembly seats in the state will happen on November 20 and the results will be announced on November 23 2024.
