Minor In Kalyani Nagar Hit-and-run Case Denied Admission By Delhi Educational Institution
Pune: The child in conflict with law (CCL) in the hit-and-run case in Kalyani Nagar has been denied admission by an educational institution in New Delhi. This was revealed by the CCL’s lawyer to the court.
The police submitted the supplementary final report against the CCL to the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) on Thursday. It states that the blood samples of the CCL were exchanged and an attempt was made to destroy the evidence. Moreover, the CCL was a part of the conspiracy.
The 200-page supplementary final report was submitted through Special Public Prosecutor Shishir Hire and Assistant Public Prosecutor Sarathi Pansare in the JJB.
The police have added a few more provisions against the CCL under section 201 (destruction of evidence), section 467 (cheating by forging documents) and 120(B) of the IPC.
The Bombay High Court has granted bail to the CCL. His custody has been handed over to his relatives on the court’s direction. He has passed the HSC exam. He got admission to a college in New Delhi. However, after learning about his involvement in the Kalyani Nagar hit-and-run case, he was denied admission.
The CCL’s lawyer complained about this to the JJB. Special Public Prosecutor Shishir Hire objected to this. His education cannot be neglected, he said. The JJB neither issued any order nor issued any instruction to the educational institution.
Two IT engineers died in the accident that took place in Kalyani Nagar on May 19. The police detained the minor son of renowned developer Vishal Agarwal. They seized a luxurious Porsche car involved in the incident.
His parents Vishal and Shivani bribed two doctors from the Sassoon Hospital and exchanged his blood samples. The police suspected that the CCL was under the influence of alcohol when the accident took place. Therefore, they took his blood samples. Shivani gave her own blood samples to exchange with her sons to save him. Later, the police arrested Dr Ajay Taware and Dr Shrihari Halnor and 14 others. The police filed a 900-page charge sheet in the Shivajinagar Court against the accused.
