Massive Show Of Strength By Ajit Pawar As Satara Turns Into Ocean Of Supporters

Deputy CM assures people all welfare schemes including Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme will continue for the next five years
Pune: Deputy Chief Minister and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President Ajit Pawar’s Jan Sanman Yatra on Monday reached Wai assembly constituency in Satara district. The region was flooded with the NCP’s supporters. Ajit Pawar was welcomed by thousands of women and youth. Ahead of assembly elections, the yatra in Wai turned into a massive show of strength by the NCP. Deputy CM inaugurated various development works in Wai Assembly Constituency and laid foundation stone of projects worth Rs 500 crore. Wai MLA Makrand Patil was also present at the occasion.
Talking about development initiatives in the region, Ajit Pawar informed, on the Krishna River, a bridge has been constructed that adds to the region’s heritage, with a budget of ₹15 crores. An STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) has also been set up in the region to address pollution, mosquito issues, and more. Government has allocated ₹100 crores for the Savitribai Phule memorial.
Reaffirming his secular ideology and belief in constitutional values, Ajit Pawar said ‘the NCP will work for every community.” We have established corporations for various communities, he further added.
Talking about the Mahayuti government’s flagship scheme – Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme, Ajit Pawar said “we have transferred benefits of the scheme to 2 crore 22 lakh 12 thousand 729 women”. Ahead of assembly elections, many leaders are switching sides, taking dig at the opponents, he said “people are switching parties, we have 40 MLAs with us, but our opponents don’t have 40, so they’re taking in people from other parties” added Pawar.
Speaking at the occasion, MLA Makrand Patil thanked Ajit Pawar for providing over Rs 100 crore development funds for Mahabaleshwar, Rs 121 crore for Pratapgarh and Rs 300 crore for concrete roads. He appealed to the voters to support him and the party in the upcoming assembly elections.
Ajit Pawar congratulated Suraj Chavan for winning the Big Boss Marathi. He also congratulated Sakshi Nitin Jambhle, from Satara who won the silver medal in the Asia Rugby Seven Site Trophy held in Nepal. Ajit Pawar appealed to the voters to support the Mahayuti in the upcoming assembly elections.
