Pune: NCP fields Nishikant Bhosale Patil against Sharad Pawar faction’s Sitting MLA and State President Jayant Patil.

In a significant development, former BJP from Sangli, Sanjaykaka Patil and District President Nishikant Bhosale Patil today joined the Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). They were inducted into the party fold by NCP National President Ajit Pawar and NCP State President Sunil Tatkare in Mumbai. 

As soon as they joined the party, NCP announced them as the party’s candidates - Nishikant Patil from Islampur and Sanjaykaka Patil will represent the party from Tasgaon assembly constituency. The joining of these leaders will strengthen the party’s base in the Sangli region.
