Pune: The ongoing nomination for Maharashtra assembly polls today witnessed a rare gesture by government scheme beneficiaries as a group of Ladki Bahin Yojana beneficiaries accompanied the NCP candidate for nomination. This was an emotional moment for Ajit Pawar who piloted the much-talked financial assistance scheme as the beneficiaries accompanied the NCP candidate with great enthusiasm during the nomination filing. Expressing gratitude to women for their love and support, the Deputy CM posted a photograph on his SM handle, saying ‘through the scheme we contributed to fulfil the dreams of our sisters and mothers and, now they are united to support us’. Ajit Pawar expressed confidence that their love and trust will remain with NCP forever.
