GHRCEM Students Win First Prize At Smart India Hackathon 2024
Pune: G H Raisoni College of Engineering and Management (GHRCEM) students from the Third Year Computer Engineering Department won the first position prize in the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2024. The winning team named “Tech Simp-2”, was awarded a cash prize of ₹1,00,000, medals, and certificates for their innovative solution to the problem statement titled “Fake Social Media Account Detection”.
In the winning team Tech Simp-2 members are Satyam Yadav (Team Leader), Puru Sing, Rishabh Kukdeja, Pratiksha Pandey, Jyoti Pandey and Dhruv Pal. Dr. Siddhasen R. Patil and Prof. Apurva Pilay, mentors of the team, played a pivotal role in guiding the students throughout the competition. Their expertise and constant encouragement helped the team achieve this success. The leadership and unwavering support of Dr. Simran Khiani (HOD, Computer Engineering), Dr. Swapnil Mahajan (Head, Innovation and Incubation Center).
