Pune, September 21, 2024: In a startling incident, a fire broke out at a super market in Vadgaon Sheri’s Matenagar locality on Saturday afternoon. The blaze erupted near Hiraman Hospital. As per the information, the exact reason for the fire is yet to be determined. Initial reports suggest that five shops were severely damaged by the fire.

Upon receiving the information, the fire brigade departments from both Pune Municipal Corporation and PMRDA promptly dispatched eight fire engines to the scene. Firefighters worked diligently to control the flames and prevent further damage, but the fire continued to spread, gutting multiple shops.

Although the exact cause of the fire remains unclear, preliminary information points to a potential short circuit as the reason behind the blaze. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties have been reported in this incident.

The area surrounding the market was engulfed in thick clouds of smoke, creating a sense of panic among the locals following the fire. Firefighters are now continuing their efforts to fully extinguish the fire.
