Organized under the Cultural Outreach Program of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Infosys Foundation

Pune:Under the Cultural Outreach Program of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Infosys Foundation, a dance symposium and performance event titled ‘Dakshina’ has been organized. The event will be presented by the ‘Nirvikalpa’ organization. It will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 5 PM at Sardar Mahadev Balwant Natu Auditorium, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (Senapati Bapat Road), Pune.

Renowned dance gurus, including Shama Bhate (Kathak), Suchitra Date and Dr. Parimal Phadke,(Bharatanatyam) will participate in a discussion. Additionally, performances will be presented by Sahana Selva Ganesh (Bharatanatyam), Aneri Sheth (Mohiniyattam), Sachchidanand Narayankar (Bharatanatyam), and Sharvari Jamenis (Kathak).

Honorary Secretary of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Prof. Nandkumar Kakirde, shared this information via a press note. The event is free of charge and marks the 226th program under the Cultural Outreach initiative of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Infosys Foundation, stated a press release.
