Mumbai:  CM Devendra Fadnavis wrote in a post on X, "Presided an important ‘War Room’ meeting in Mantralaya to review the flagship projects across Maharashtra. These projects encompass critical areas such as metro systems, highways, irrigation, airports, ports, and tourism."

During this time, issued clear directives to all departments to ensure timely completion of the projects, emphasizing strict accountability for any delays. Also stressed that no delay would be tolerated, and immediate action would be taken to address issues in administrative approvals, fund disbursement, land acquisition, and the implementation processes, he added.

Port Development

✅Vadhavan Port: Expedite permissions and land acquisition for the construction of Vadhavan Port, which will enhance India’s maritime trade and bolster Maharashtra’s industrial and export policies.

Irrigation Projects

✅Vidarbha and Marathwada Projects:

▪️Issue work order on Monday for the survey of the Wainganga-Nalganga river linking project.

▪️Provide land immediately to the victims of the Lower Pedhi project, which will significantly improve irrigation and water resource management.

Railway Projects

✅Accelerate land acquisition for the Wadsa-Gadchiroli and Wardha-Nanded railway lines.

Tourism Development

✅Submit a proposal for the approval of the Tuljapur Temple Development Plan.

✅Beautify and create additional facilities for pilgrims at the Tulja Bhavani Temple.

Urban Development

✅Resolve water scarcity issues in Chhatrapati SambhajiNagar by ensuring the ROB water supply scheme's first phase is launched by March 31.

✅Expedite the Virar-Alibaug Multi-Modal Corridor survey, ensuring its completion next month.

✅Submit the proposal for the Mula-Mutha River Conservation Project immediately.

✅Transfer the transit building for the BDD Chawl Redevelopment Project, Worli, at the earliest.

✅Complete the Mumbai Metro 3 Project by June-July.

Airport and Traffic Solutions

✅Appoint a consultant for the development of Palghar Airport.

✅Expedite land acquisition for the Pune Ring Road Project to address traffic congestion.

He further said that, "This strategic push underscores Maharashtra’s commitment to transforming infrastructure, improving quality of life, and driving the state’s growth forward."
