Aum Gujarati: Maharashtra's Skating Champion Shines At World Skate Games
Pune: 14-year-old Aum Gujarati, a trailblazing athlete from Maharashtra, has once again made the nation proud by representing India at the prestigious World Skate Games held on September 24. Aum, the only female skater from India selected for this elite competition, has earned a remarkable position among the top 10 skaters in the world, ranking 9th, after outperforming competitors from Australia, Japan, Chile, and other countries.
This marks a key moment in her career, having already secured seven national medals and establishing herself in Indian sports. Aum’s journey stands out not just for her talent but also because she is the only girl from Maharashtra to receive such national recognition in skating.
With immense pride, Aum reflects on her accomplishment, stating, "I am happy and proud to make India reach the Top 10. I believe I can perform even better and will focus on improving my mental strength to achieve a higher ranking next year."
