Appeal to All to Contribute to Police Work with enthusiasm


 

Pune:The 37th anniversary of the Police Mitra Sanghatna (Maharashtra State) was celebrated in Pune. On this occasion, a special event was organized in Pune where dignitaries from the police force and social sectors were honored by Rajendra Kapote, President of Police Mitra Sanghatna (Maharashtra State), former MLA Mohan Joshi, Deputy Commissioner of Police Sandeep Singh Gill, President of Marathi Film Corporation Meghraj Rajebhosle, Chief Superintendent of Yerwada Jail Hemant Patil, Deputy Superintendent Ravindra Gaikwad, Chief Engineer of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Rajendra Pawar, and entrepreneurs Subhash Agarwal, Sandeep Chilekar, and Chetan Shinde.

The event was held with great enthusiasm on Tuesday, August 13, at 7 PM at Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Bhavan (Ghole Road).

The honored dignitaries included Assistant Sub-Inspector Santosh Kshirsagar, Police Constable Ajay Thorat, Traffic Police Officer Diksha Bansode, Bike Rider Mrunal Chorge, Social Activists Nitin Chopra, Yogesh Bhalerao, Milan Mehetre, Social Worker Purnima Gadia, Latif Sheikh, Sonia Ithape, and representatives of the Damini Squad. Sandeep Sakore conducted the event.

Mohan Joshi stated, "The police force is always on duty, day and night, during festivals, events, and the Wari pilgrimage. This ceremony, which appreciates the police force and honors social activists, is commendable. Police Mitra assist the police force throughout the year, and it is noteworthy that these social workers remain active in all areas through the Police Mitra Sanghatna."

Rajendra Kapote added, "For 36 years, Police Mitra Sanghatna has been working to assist the police force in their daily tasks through citizen involvement. Everyone should strive to resolve the pending issues of the police force. They should have good living arrangements, and work hours should not exceed 8 hours. Basic amenities should be provided in the residential facilities. There should be a proper balance between the place of residence and the workplace. The police should be encouraged, and their positive contributions should be highlighted instead of constantly speaking negatively about them."

Meghraj Rajebhosle, Hemant Patil, Ravindra Gaikwad, and awardees Yogesh Bhalerao expressed their thoughts. Sandeep Sakore conducted the event. Sandeep Jadhav-Patil, Milind Chaudhary, Manish Sonigra, Bobby Karanani, Yogesh Acharya, Sumit Darandale, Shubhangi Chavdhar, Mrs. Bhagyashree Mhaske, Sachin Kale, Sanju Agarwal, Sapna Chaudhary, Ravindra Balai, Chaitanya Jagtap, Deepak Joshi, Prashant Kalkute, and others were present. The event began with the rendition of Ganesh Vandana and patriotic songs.
